Dan Boudreau is a third year medical student at Ä¢¹½AV. Over the past two summers he has participated in Ä¢¹½AV International Health Education Program in both Tanzania and South Africa and has been a great ambassador for the Ä¢¹½AV Medical School. Dan has been tireless in raising funds to support the work of individuals and groups he's made contact with during his international experiences.
In the nomination letter for this award, a fellow student writes: "What makes Dan's work so special and so important is that he truly does what he does for the benefit of others; his work is often done "behind the scenes". He leads by example and has no expectation of recognition or reward. So many of us begin medical school with the hope of someday making a difference in our communities and in the world around us; Dan is a true example of how to begin today."
The award was presented to Dan at the Rich Man Poor Man Dinner on April 6, 2006.
