Students of Nature Conservation, BIOL 3601, and SustainDal present the documentary Winged Migration. Described as a "superior wildlife film," Winged Migration will screen Friday, Nov. 14, 7 p.m. in the Potter Auditorium, Rowe Management Building. Admission is by donation.
The Chinese Studies Program presents the film Hero during a special movie night for all students on Monday, Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the MacMechan Auditorium in the Killam Library. Hero stars Jet Li as a lethal hero with no name in an epic martial arts extravaganza directed by Zhang Yimou. Ziyi Zhang and Tony Leung also star.
Borealis follows Frank Wolf and Taku Hokoyama as they canoe 3,100 km through the remote Boreal forest of Manitoba and Ontario. The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society and Mountain Equipment Coop present a screening of Borealis on Thursday, Nov. 20, 7 p.m. in the Potter Auditorium, Rowe Management Building.
