The Tigers team will be competing at the CIS Championships on Saturday, Nov. 14 in Kingston, Ont.
Russell Christie, cross country
Russell Christie capped off his AUS career exactly how it began; by once again winning the conference championship race at Point Pleasant Park on Saturday, Oct. 31. For the fourth time this season, Christie sat in the lead pack and then surged away from all contenders, including last year’s CIS bronze medalist, David Gerych of St. FX. Mr. Christie completed the 10 kilometre course in 32:17, leading the Ä¢¹½AV men’s team to a silver medal finish. The Petrolia, Ont. native and his fellow teammates, head to the CIS Championships in Kingston, Ont. on Saturday, Nov. 14.
