Global Affairs Canada, in partnership with Environment and Climate Change Canada, invites you to participate in the on the future of Canada’s climate finance. The consultation will be open to submissions until August 21, 2020.
In 2015, Canada pledged $2.65 billion over five years to help developing countries transition to low-carbon, climate-resilient economies. The objectives of this funding include supporting countries to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, implement adaptation actions, and mobilize new private sector capital for global climate action.
