Listen to Mind: The Gap’s recent podcast episodes covering open education with Dr. Leanne Stevens and accessible teaching and learning with Dr. Jennifer Stamp!
Dr. Leanne Stevens is a Ä¢¹½AV teaching fellow and acting associate dean academic. In this episode, we chat about the benefits and challenges of open education. Dr. Stevens is one of the first recipients of the Open Educational Resources grant offered at Ä¢¹½AV. This grant allowed Dr. Stevens to achieve her goal of making science accessible by creating a free textbook for a first-year undergraduate psychology and neuroscience course. Through this work, Dr. Stevens continues to collaborate with generations of students to incorporate a wide range of ideas into the ever-evolving textbook.
