October is Sustainability Month at Dal. Sustainability Month aims to foster a culture of sustainability on campus through hosting engaging events and activities and sharing helpful resources and information online that promote positive behaviour change and reduce footprints.

Each week centres around one of our core program areas: Transportation, Food, Waste, and Energy. More event and activity details 聽(login required).

October is also Fair Trade Month, where, as a Fair Trade Campus, we will offer additional programming and resources throughout the month about the offerings at Dal and the benefits of the certification.
